We are the Charitable Foundation “Home of Rescued Animals”, which has been saving animals from mistreatment, neglect or keeping in unacceptable conditions for more than 7 years.
Our story began in Lviv with the creation of a unique shelter for wild and agricultural animals and birds. Foxes, raccoons, owls, hedgehogs, pheasants, goats, ducks, chickens, wild ducks, goats and many others — all of them needed not only shelter, but also professional veterinary care and rehabilitation.
With the beginning of the full-scale invasion, we expanded our activities — we also began to take care of pets abandoned by their owners or who suffered as a result of the war. Since then, we receive, treat and rescue animals from all over Ukraine.
During the full-scale war, we managed to save more than 9000 animals.
What we do today
With the beginning of the full-scale invasion, we expanded our activities — we also began to take care of pets abandoned by their owners or who suffered as a result of the war. Since then, we receive, treat and rescue animals from all over Ukraine.
We accept new wards
We are looking for responsible owners for cats and dogs
We treat and rehabilitate the injured
We carry out educational work on the humane attitude to the work
Infrastructure
We are developing a modern network of objects that help us to help animals even more effectively.
Ecopark “Tychok” is a future space for the rehabilitation of wild and agricultural animals. A semi-natural environment is created here, where the animals will receive safe conditions for long-term detention or rehabilitation to return to the wild.
The Mriya Dog Space is a special place for elderly and injured dogs who find it difficult to find a new family. Here they receive warmth, care and a decent life.
The Center for the Rescue of Hummingbirds “Pechera” is the first specialized center in western Ukraine for wintering and rehabilitation of wing-wingers, all species of which are listed in the Red Book of Ukraine. Thanks to the “Cave”, more than 400 bats have already been saved. The Center also conducts active educational activities on the important role of hoverflies in nature.
We regularly organize humanitarian trips — we deliver food, cages, medicines to places where animals are in critical condition. Some of them are evacuated to our shelter, treated and are looking for new owners.
We have no government funding. All our activities are possible only thanks to the support of caring people.
We are sincerely grateful to everyone who helps — financially, with food, medicine, transport or a kind word.
